Hi guys.
Our beautiful boy Jake needs your help! He is still looking for his foster or foster to adopt home.
He’s a beautiful lovely retired guy who we feel might be best suited to being the only dog, or with a medium to large female dog.
Unfortunately we think he has been overlooked because he’s black, and he’s male. Which happens a lot. 😢
The boys are just as sweet as the girls. Yes they are bigger but they are more cuddly and loving!
Give him a try. 💕🐾
If you are Interested in fostering him., BTG will supply, dry food, worming tablets, flea drops, collar lead and muzzle, vet care and support from a group of volunteers and foster carers during the whole foster period and the opportunity to help a beautiful greyhound learn the big world around them AND find their forever home (if it’s not yours of course 😉)
Interested? Send us a message, and we will be happy to chat,

From Jake:
I am 5.5 yrs old. And a big boy at 40kgs. I proudly raced as Emerley Dryad.
I decided that it’s time to hang up my racing paws 🐾 and trade them in for couch paws. 🐾

I have never been in a home but I’m smart and I will learn fast. 🤓

I have had all my vet work completed, I just need to start my training in the home, socializing with other dogs big and small, seeing the world and learning manners.
I think I could be an only dog? Or a nice girl doggy medium to large would be good too. 🐶
No cats, chickens etc. plz.

If you are interested please let my friends at BTG know.
I am becoming a bit sad. It seems no one wants to give me a try.
Even if you would like to meet me, my friends can arrange that! Just talk to them!
I will be waiting with paws on. 🐾
Hopefully waiting,
The big man-
Jake 🐾💕🐾🌟

Adoption process

All BTG greyhounds are Desexed, C5 Vaccinated, Wormed & Heart Worm treated prior to adoption. They have been fostered for a minimum of 8 weeks to allow maximum training and preparation for home life.

A post adoption trial period of 4 weeks is available to help families decide if the greyhound is the right one for them.

We also offer Foster to Adopt options for those who love the idea of teaching a greyhound in their home with the view to adopt it once it has "graduated" to Home Life status. This is a wonderful experience, to watch it blossom in your own home with your guidance and love. An ideal way to make sure this is the perfect dog for you.
