Paint me like one of your French girls…
Storm hasn’t been in foster care very long but she is quickly learning commands such as come and wait.
Storm is starting to show her lovely sweet nature. She is a polite and easy going girl that likes getting out and about, going in the car, and being with her foster people. Storm has been in a pet store with lots of other dogs and was very well behaved!
Storm enjoys her walks and is great on a lead, and loves to meet other dogs out walking, but is wary of people walking without dogs!
Storm has started to play gently at home with her foster brother who’s a Whippet x Italian Greyhound. She can however be possessive with other dogs over her bed/sleeping space and a little jealousy but hopefully this will improve over time. She would do well being an only dog, she doesn’t seem to need their company at home, she just needs her human. Storm bonds quickly and prefers the company of her foster mum, keeping in sight most of the time.
She is a thief, she takes a shoe to her bed but she doesn’t chew it, she is just a collector. She also likes her soft toys but doesn’t chew them either.
Storm needs lots of time and gentle kindness to trust a male. It can take quite a while and a bit of patience to win her over, although she is ok with teenage boys.
Storm sleeps very well on her bed at the night and she lets you know if she needs to go out to the toilet. Storm also eats very well and will allow her foster mum to take food away while eating.
Storm gets upset when other dogs rush at her off lead and when they bark (she just likes her K9 pals to have manners!)
