I think the best way to describe Will is to show you his notes from his foster home. Its says exactly how wonderful and well balanced this guy is.
Will spent a week and a half living in our home and has to be the best dog my partner and I have ever met! He took huge changes in his stride and made us smile every single day. Will is a very easy-going and affectionate dog that is happy to spend his days outside soaking up the rays when you’re not home, and by your side being part of the family when people are. He loves a good cuddle and to just rest his head (or the whole body with a greyhound lean) against you.
While with us, Will met many different people and greeted them all wonderfully, we even had a few people comment that Will had convinced them that their next dog will be a greyhound! He met our niece who is under a year old and was very gentle with her. Even when she started crying Will tried everything to put a smile on her face from putting a paw out for her to greyhound zoomies around the yard eventually bringing a laugh out of her! He would be fantastic for a family with kids of any age.
Will LOVES his enrichment activities, he enjoyed foraging for food scattered in the grass and tried a few doggy puzzles which he mastered in no time, he also became a big fan of peanut butter and could spend a lot of time licking it out of Kong type toys if you ever need to keep him occupied. Speaking of toys, Will LOVES his squeaky toys and is a delight to watch while he throws the toy around trying to find the squeaker!
Will walks nicely beside you and never pulls. He is not put off by suburban noises, cars or other dogs, he tends to have a look and just keep walking if you do. We get a lot of birds and possums in our yard and he never paid any attention to these. He completely ignored our lizard (who lives in a terrarium but just came out of hibernation) but unfortunately, he was too focussed on our cats so he was unable to stay with us.
Wills nature is a testament to how he was raised by his trainers and you can see that love and care was given to him all throughout his life. It’s hard not to spoil this beautiful boy with his puppy dog eyes! He will provide a very lucky family with a lifetime of love, we wish all the best for this fantastic dog. 😊 ~ Alana
